wow that is neat. i'm still looking but haven't seen any more here in
houston. also only have seen 1 hummer 1 time this spring. not sure why
the spring migration is so minimal since we had a glut here in the fall

I woke up this morning to a very pleasant surprise. After over a month
with no goldfinches, I looked out the front window and there were 7
beautiful bright yellow goldfinches sitting on one of my feeders! I
thought they'd already left for the Summer, but I guess these 7 must've
been passing through from somewhere further South on their way North.
They were stunning in their Summer colors...like a big bright yellow
Sunflower.
As you can imagine, it was a great start to my morning...
