This looks like a nice feeder. Does anyone in the northeast actually fill
a feeder this size all the way up? I would think the fluid would become
distasteful long before it is consumed.
Good observation. Use the feeder that fits your needs. Fill based on use
over a 2 to 4 day period depending on temperature. If I was using a larger
feeders I would still fill with the amount of sugar-water the hummers are
likely to use. There are some locations where people have hundreds of
hummers so the larger feeders are necessary. Thanks to Lanny for giving a
heads-up on this feeder. I looks interesting. Its washable and can hold
alot of nectar. Sort of combines the best of both feeder types.
