I am looking into a spotting scope. I am considering a Swarovski Habicht
model AT 80. I can not find any info that would tell me if it has ED
glass (Extra-low Dispersion). Does anyone know of an online source of
data that would say one way or the other? Also, perhaps someone here has
one and has the documentation that might say what the details are.
all on topic replys appreciated
Swarovski scopes come in two flavors of glass: non HD and HD.
HD glass is worth the money of you want the best image possible with this
scope.
Swarovski scopes with HD glass have HD imprinted on the top of the scope.
HD is the same as ED.
