Now, and in the 1950's, too. My first bird book was Audubon's Birds of
America (I think that's the title). It's a huge book. The idiot that I am,
I sold it to a used book place 27 years ago.. ANYway, there is a photo in
there of an Anna's with the caption "Washington." I got that book in 1959.
