Cooper's Hawk

Our resident Cooper's Hawk has been very vocal lately. He/she is usually totally silent flying over, checking out the bird feeders. Now he/she takes off from one Norway spruce with that sort of scream, flies above the feeders across an open area to another huge spruce. This has happened several times.
I have no idea what it means but it does make you feel like you are out in the wilds of Alaska:) Just so he doesn't think any of us look like prey!
