Lou - it's not a spring, more like the wavy washer on the current UT
cranks except 1) smaller of course 2) firmer and 3) the 'wave' pattern
is regular. Is this the piece you're talking about ? I'm familiar with
the spring which retains the pawls. It's not that. Thanks for your
input.
