Has anyone in the US ordered bike parts from Wiggle in the UK, and was
that an easy/pleasant transaction? I am having a heck of the time
finding a certain rear rack that I want in the USA (in fact I ordered it
from one online seller but got a message afterwards that it was
unavailable) but it is available from Wiggle for only a couple dollars
more, and better yet, it's available from them in a silver version which
I haven't seen before (I was resigned to using Krylon.) They have free
shipping on orders over $80 so I can order some other stuff I need to
fill out the order.
Were there any customs/duty hassles? Any other problems?
When I ordered from the UK there were no hassles of any kind and it
was fast and shipping was cheap.
One should note however that if you are buying in dollars from the UK
the price will be fluctuating at all times and the goods may in fact
be getting more and more expensive for Americans with each passing
minute.
Is the British Pound collapsing as well?
