Without descending to the immediate particulars, how do you deal
with blathering loud idiots on cell phones in the coffee shop or
the idiots who 'explain' movies in great detail to their date
while sitting right behind you? Same ilk.
Let's look into the truth of these wild and entertaining
inventions by Andrew Muzi: I have never used a cell phone in a
public place in my life.
(etc - snip traditional Jute drivel).

I look forward to being amused by your weaseling as you attempt
an explanation.
I'm surprised that one who claims to be a professional writer
struggles with the simple language used by Andrew. Is there
anybody out there who thought Herr Jute's interpretation was
correct?

Nope. Jute's an eedjit with pretensions of adequacy. And, for a
pseudoprofessional "writer," he's remarkably maladept at reading.

Makes one wonder if Jute's publications were "vanities" - i.e. he
paid to have them published?

Interesting question, although at least in some cases it doesn't
obviously look like it. A number of "Andre's" books seem to have been
remaindered and/or to have gone out of print. A search of Amazon finds
28 hits although half or more of those are duplicates.

One of his books, _Writing a Thriller_ ranks at #1,845,446 on Amazon.
It's of such importance that the publisher doesn't even mention it on
their Web site, where a search for "Jute" turns up no hits at all.

Jute's oft-mentioned (by himself, anyway) book _Designing and Building
Special Cars_ appears to have gone out of print and, likewise, searching
the publisher's Web site turns up no hits related to "Jute." This one
ranks at # 3,339,019 on Amazon.

One of Jute's books that might actually interest me, _The Iditarod_,
seems not only to have gone out of print but the publisher is even gone,
having been assimilated several times and disappearing by 1993. This
one has no sales ranking on Amazon.

The rest of the books on Amazon follow the same pattern. So, basically,
Andre's puffed up ego on Usenet just compensates for his relative
negligibility in the real world. And even on Usenet he is regularly
caught out on the lack of depth in his understanding of technical
matters, which he covers with bluster and ad hominem attacks. Looking
at the r.a.t. archives this pattern was evident there as well as here.
On r.a.t. author noted "He has some fairly basic understanding
of electronics and tubes, enough to fool not only quite a few people on
this newsgroup for a while, but also Glass Audio magazine for whom
he wrote some stuff a few years back. However as soon as
things go into any depth he is lost, technically, and he absolutely
hates that." Just like on r.b.t.

He wrote a review for Glass Audio of a low cost kit for low power
single-ended
tubes. The manufacturer of the kit had the genius to name this Single
Ended
Xperimenter's kit SeX. Of course it was paired with the Foreplay preamp
and
other attractively named products. Good, fun stuff actually.

His review was within the range of his skills, though the execution of a
wooden
frame for the amp's chassis was a bit haphazard looking, leading to
unwelcome
jibes about "SeX in a pine wood box."

I'm sure you all realize that Jute has no kill file, rather the opposite.
And while you are roasting him, he is regaling in the gravy that your
attention ladles over his corpulent and diseased ego. As in PR, any
attention is good attention for such a neurotic parasite.

Yes, I said so.
