Mumble along with the rhythm, cha-cha-cha.

I hear you... and I can relate (sort of, I think, maybe).

Sometimes what comes out of all these influences is blank verse by the
page. A band leader I was interviewing a few years ago recorded some
of the rhythms and incorporated them in pieces he composed and passed
off as Mediterranean "fusion music". Mediterranean my arse; we were
sitting in Ireland, heating going full blast in midwinter.

 Hope you're feeling better.

Miserable. I spent all day yesterday and all night sorting out a
credit card that was compromised at a mailorder house. it just happens
to be the card I buy mailorder bike and computer gear on, so now I
have to wait for the replacement card to arrive just when I want some
parts.

(FWIW I thought Hank was just trying to help.)

Hank's problem is that he doesn't know if he wants to be reasonable or
popular or what, and anyway, he'll have a hard time with me until he
learns the difference between principle and popularity. But for sure
he doesn't belong with the little gang of bullies on RBT.

Reasonable, for sure.

But worst of all, Hank has been dealing with some (I dunno, one, maybe
two, it's been three in the past) "helpers" forging letters in my
name, hoping to piss off everyone at me. I could sort it out, with a
lot of patience and hard work, but I don't see the point if all Hank
wants is for me to "STFU".

It is. And I'll give you the benefit of the doubt if you say that the
more over-the-top inflammatory posts were forged, which is why (I
think) I haven't addressed you since you've made that claim. I HOPE
for your sake that the more insane stuff credited to you was forged.

All the same, I think you need to retire your use of the word "scum."
You're using it like Wallace Shawn used "inconceivable" in The
Princess Bride.
