Keeps the bike stock. Cheap and decent enough tires widely available,
really good ones via the net. Oh, and matches the front wheel. ;-)
Plus, I like big wheels. It's the anti 650B B-) I built some 27's a
while back--they looked huuge and magnificent. Ultimately, it's not
that important...as long as it's not some hobbitty size.
I thought about a joke post recommending an upgrade to 635mm
Dunlops...
With a 650C Aerospoke front?
