Hey, where is Peter Chisholm these days? He is one of the more prolific

Dear Tim,
Peter is all right and says that he's just taking a vacation from
newsgroups.
Talk about the woes of the local bike shop:
Thief takes $10,000 bike
A rare bicycle worth about $10,000 has been stolen from Vecchio's Bike
Shop, 1833 Pearl St.
The "one-of-a-kind" Calfee-brand road bike went missing about 3 p.m.
Aug. 27 after an employee put it near the front door for about five
minutes, said Peter Chisholm, shop owner.
"Someone just walked into the shop and took it," he said Tuesday. "We
have no idea who he was, obviously. You'd be visiting him in the
hospital if we had caught him."
The 56 cm Calfee Dragon Fly road bike was one of the most expensive
bikes the shop carries, and it was being prepared for an avid Boulder
cyclist, Chisholm said. It's black, with some blue in the corners,
Topolino wheels and Campagnolo gears.
Anyone with information on the bike can call Vecchio's at 303-440-3535
or e-mail Chisholm at peter@ vecchios.com.
