I don't care whethr bicyclists pay their "fair share" or not. It's
impossible to pay for every little thing with only the tax dollars from
exactly the group that uses it. What about the public garages and parking
lots that are supported by tax dollars, and used only by car drivers. What
about schools, that are paid for by property taxes, even by people with no
children? And street lights, that are paid for by people who never go out
at night? It averages out, and it's cheaper to do it with averages than to
nit-pick.
