My perfect combo would be
- Volvo station wagon inline four turbo one of the older ones with the
back wheel drive (maybe tuned suspension)

- Old school VW rabbit (golf) first or second gen GTI of course.

- Lancia Stratus Rally spec

- VW Wesfalia (sp?)

- My bikes.

The Volvo would be my fun work horse, the golf would be also a fun
second car to do light haling and tralving. The Lancia is their just
because I think it would be very fun. The Westfalia for camping and
long road trips and my bikes for fun and getting around.

The vehicle must be capable of carrying such a box
inside out of weather back home

3. Allow for sleeping in a vehicles such as camping out
on weekends or on road trips

4. Allow good fuel mileage

5. Have an element of "fun"

6. Provide for safety during transport

I say a perfect combination is small truck with topper
on it and a motorcycle and a bicycle

Or maybe a van and motorcycle/bicycle

The motorcycle/bicycle gives the element of fun and
"backup" for when main vehicle is down for repairs

The van or truck with topper allows one to haul cargo
and to 'camp" out of inside of vehicle during weekends
or on road trips.

Agree? Disagree?

Other ideas of 'combos"?
