I think I was trying to explain how the unartful use of a word that usually
means two, but at times means other values, can be improved. Are you
telling me that when your wife is getting dressed for a fancy evening, and
says "just a couple of minutes", that you hold her to that, drag her out on
the street, and remind her of her literal promise ? If yes, you have a fine
thing going.
