Astronomy, birding and optics are my biggest hobby. TeleVue make portable
short focus refractors. Visually, a fast refractor doesn't offer an
advantage over a slow one. For visual planetary work teh slow ones are best
IMHO.the s. Glad to see I'm not the only one interested in that.
Well, Roland Christen (Astrophysics) is of german origin if I'm not
mistaken. I'll tell you something: I have a Zeiss APO refractor (Carl Zeiss
stopped producing them) and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
Maybe you should look into Takahashi when the wait is too long ;-)
