real top level.
Other accomplishments:
--Hit 150ish MPH while motorpacing a purpose-built car
--Refused to work with Mount during the 76 Olympics (according to Mount)
--Won one of the first Ironman triathlons
--Did the race that later became RAAM (I'm kinda hazy on this)
So he did a lot on his bike. But not sure I'd put him on Rushmore.
