That's the one of the best arguments, along with violent child
molestation, for legalizing torture. I'm not evolved enough to feel
sorry for the bastards and would enjoy sharing the pain the victims and
families are feeling with those who caused it.
If we can lock up people for years for a lousy ounce of weed, why the
hell can't we lock up drunk drivers for a long time until the third or
fourth offense?

While in law school we discussed your position in a penal law class. It
is not without merit although it is based purely on revenge as opposed to
the present rehabilitation model/myth.


I am not sure that the myth has any legs left. I can' think of a single
person from any state/federal corrections department who would try to
convince anyone that they are trying to rehabilitate a single prisoners.
Warehouse - yes, rehabilitate - no
