Mine? How can you say that?
Damn sure not mine. My fathers parents came by Ellis island in 1907 and 1912 and met in Chicago. My mothers mother came over from Ireland because of the great potato famine. Her father was French/Indian descended from resistance fighters warring against the whites practicing genocide on the Indians, old Honest Abe included. The white savages with guns were settling the savages without guns by shooting them in the back as they ran. Yup, Lincoln sure was great. It's in his memoirs.
Apart of that, many highly-skilled and educated people come to this country every year who can barely speak the langauge.
They do that to further their education by working in the US.
You don't have a problem with
them, do you?
Yes I do. They are taking jobs away from us Americans born here.
Those who cross the border illegally often do so to have
greater opportunities to a better life.
They could at least learn English and history and petition to become legal citizens, like my grandparents did. Without getting the whole family on welfare because they got here in time to have baby number x.
And of course, some of them will
steal & rob, etc. But how are they really any different than those who were born right here and do the same things?
This country does have it's fair amount of white trash mixed with others.
To a very large extent, it's more
of an economic issue than one simply of race.
If I didn't have to find the English side of the can every time I went into a grocery store it might not be so bad. Imagine the conflict when they get to clogging up Wisconsin and Minnesota, where things are already dual labeled in French. English, French, and now Spanish?
Have you a clue what you are talking about? Math is math, period. I have to keep up with not only the latest programming languages, basic, Pascal, C, C++, Java, C#, ADA, etc......, and that's only the programming. Next try hardware and the near daily changes, even in AMD and Intel chip names, much less all the CAD programs. I read about 3 magazines a day and things change week by week.

Accounting isn't simply grade school math. And engineering needn't give anyone a sore brain.
