I'm glad you think that this is your theory. There is a body of
published work that has studied and quantified this dating back until
at least the 1960's. At that time Rahe and Arthur published a series of
studies showing that changes in life circumstance was strongly
correlated with desease onset. Interestingly, it was change- both
positive and negative- that correlated highly- not just negative
events.

And yes it was also postulated that the specfic desease that afflicted
one had to do with the specifics of that person.
Fundamental to the desease process is the idea that there is a multiple
etiology for desease. That is there needs to be a host, a vector, and a
pathogen. Depending on the mix and the specifics of each leg of the
triangle different deseases affect (or not) different folks
differently.

So it is a combination of a lot of things. The more poisons you consume
and
the more stress you are under are all contributors. I never said an ice
cube tray was going to give you Cancer did I?

You implied that by saying you won't use them.


All they can say now is some cancer is caused by genes and even if
you
do everything right you will still get cancer. it is the law : )

Lots of the shifts that we see in desease incidence is as much related
to changes in life expectancy and to changes in exposure to pathogens.
So, when we discovered antibiotics and greatly reduced infectious
deseases we increased the chances that larger numbers of folks would
live long enough to develop the chronic deseases like heart problems
and cancers.


My issue with your statements is not to be negative to your thoughts-

encourage you to actually read a bit more of the quality literature on

John Hopkins newsletter said plastic bottles produce dioxins when frozen or
heated. A recent article on their website also says dioxins etc

Again I did not say you had to believe it. If an urban legend is unproved
it does not make it disproved and the FDA is not always right either so how
a person makes their decisions is from personal experience.

And yes it is my theory since I read Hans Selye's book on Stress in the
1970's (not what he said but my summation of what I have lived through). My
own Doctor did not agree. He is the one that needs a deeper understanding.
I never heard anyone else say it. visa vee People I tell about BMI do not
believe me either but it proves what I was saying. People do not want to
listen and stress, as to weight, is the whole reason you get any disease.
Though you may want to embellish that with your deeper research. Basal
Metabolic Index. Keep it simple. or most people will not understand
anyway.
