kamikaze bird

Picked up a new wheel for my road bike yesterday. Slapped that baby on and
went out for my daily ride. On my way home a bird flew right into the
spokes and killed itself. Darndest thing I've ever seen. I thought they
had better navigating skills than that. Squirrels yes but birds?
