When they call for an immediate pull-out THREE WEEKS before a major
milestone? Yes.

When the same blowhards who made the case for war -- often-times in
/stronger/ terms than the admin. -- now say that Bush "lied" and "misled"
and "distorted" and "manipulated" (with no evidence or proof, BTW) just
because they see an opening? Yes.

Sure there is. Have the election. Do a better job of protecting US
soldiers. Deploy more and more trained Iraqi troops and police, and reduce
American presence as conditions allow.

These same things took DECADES in previous conflicts in other parts of the
world; it's been 2-3 years in Iraq.

The discussion was just about Iraq. (Actually, it wasn't: it was about a
CYCLIST GETTING SHOT. Why "Shallow" would use that to introduce his "our
goons in Iraq" vitriol is beyond me, but quite revealing.)

When the war was going well and the polls showed high support, the Dems
either touted their affirming votes or at least kept quiet. Then that
ridiculous CIA "Leakgate" thing gave them and the media an excuse to start
making reckless charges, shouted from the rooftops; public opinion followed,
and now they're piling on. It scares them to death that, despite ALL this
crap, the policy could still succeed and Bush will be proven right; and yes,
they're doing everything possible to undermine it. (Shades of the last US
election, too, BTW.)

I'm amazed you can't see THAT.

Have the last word; this is too time-consuming (AND aggravating!)...
