I find on the site "The police would never caution anyone for riding with flashing lights on their bicycle." Can you attest that this is true for The Netherlands?
Actually flashing red lights are illegal in a number of places, and most places that require headlights, require them to be always on. Not that a bridge rectifier and a capacitor couldn't fix the problem.....
