I'm curious to know what brought this on all the sudden. Usually one
sees something like this as a reply in an existing thread. Starting a
thread with a post like this usually requires something to set a
person off.
It aroused my curiosity as well.
If you research this poster a bit and follow his path since arrival (wait for a rainy day because it's not all that exciting :-) the path almost duplicates reading Steven King's "The Shining".
He arrives, asks a few questions, then starts to come apart when he can't handle the general kidding back and forth that goes on among the regulars here. It's fascinating really watching him deteriorate. I hate to see this happen to someone, especially if they are new to Usenet.
This person, if you read on down through his/her "comebacks" obviously has some deeply seated issues not even closely related to flying.
In fact, as a flight instructor who deals constantly in flight safety issues, I would recommend strongly that if this poster is actually a student pilot, those dealing with him/her take a long serious look at the mental picture involved here before going any further with training.
I'm seeing some personality traits in this poster that would deeply concern me if this involved a student I was teaching to fly.
On the other hand, all we might have had here is a teenager with a computer and some issues. Who knows? It's Usenet :-)
