Re: To all student pilots concerning the poster "Lynne"

The student pilot newsgroup is a serious pastime for a lot of us who post
here to help new pilots and students coming up the line. Personally, I'll
let pass a lot of crap on rec.aviation.piloting for example that I will take
on here in an instant.
A great deal of the people seeking help here are new both to flying AND to
Usenet. Many of our students are actively engaged in flight lessons on a
daily basis while they are posting here seeking this help and advice.
Considering this, it could actually be a flight safety issue to allow
someone suspected of posing as a CFI to be dealing out advice on this
newsgroup unchallenged by the rest of us.
I've had serious concerns about this "Lynne" character for some time.
Researching has produced some VERY interesting habit patterns, falsehoods,
and in at least one instance that I'm absolutely sure of, a deliberate lie.
I realize posting on Usenet is a free experience, and I'm anything but the
Usenet Police. I can't stop this person from posting here, and indeed that's
not my intent anyway, but I'll put this "Lynne" character on notice here and
now FWIW.

Lynne, or Miller, or whatever you call yourself today;
Post here as you wish with whatever advice you might want to lay out just
like anyone else, and that information will be dealt with by all of us on a
post by post basis, but post here posing or even insinuating you are a CFI
and I for one will challenge you immediately to produce backup for that
claim.
