Also you need to get an M1 visa and to do that you need to be with an
approved flight school. The TSA don't require a visa but the Customs and
immigration do.
That means a trip to the US embassy before you travel to the States, pay
$100 to have the application processed and have an interview.

There are very few places outside the States that do the finger printing, so
there can be some delay from arrival to being allowed to start training.
