precious pilot for a very small chance of actually scoring a hit.   Bonkers!

It wouldn't be bonkers to sell such a project to the former street
thugs who controlled the money if it kept you and your staff out of
the Infantry.

Is that your lame excuse? Just like the explanation of German Experten
with high scores all got them against the poorly trained and equipped
VVS on the Ostfront? Really? They were inferior to US pilots with
great training and the best a/c... so please tell how the Soviets aces
scored higher than the US- in fact most nations aces scored higher
than the US which includes Germany, Italy, Japan, Finland, Britain,
etc...!!! And the USSR was in the war less than 1 year than the US.

Basically what you are saying is that developing high technology in
the Reich was necessary to avoid being shipped to the Ostfront.
Bullshit. Most of these Dipl-Ings are well-known with their companies.
And how does a designer serve best in wartime? By DESIGNING!!!

The design and testing of the BT weapons were urgent due to the speed
of the Komet. Hitler was obsessed with high speed to strike enemy
armor and ships. That is why he ordered the Me-262 as Sturmvogel first
and this weapon mated to a rocket fighter sounds like much the same
thing.

Sounds to me that Hitler was the one obsessed with turning every
weapon into an OFFENSIVE one due to Nazi ideology so stop blaming
aeronautical engineers.
