the LW Experten can attest. Despite the lack of visibility, cramped
cockpit, gear problems, weight gains with constant engine and armament
mods, and airframe stress over 10 years, the Me Bf 109 was the
greatest killing machine of all time
If you're comparing "killing machines", I suggest you've got to go quite
a ways to equal the B-29 - without even considering those who perished
in the Tokyo fire raids and other non-nuclear B-29 attacks.
Bill,
You can stop with the bomber and A-bomb or strategic bombing with
fighter "killing machine".
The Me Bf 109 killed the most a/c in history-fact.
Get over it.
It must really threaten you to bring up an Atomic Bomb for comparison
to an aircraft that first flew in 1935 ;)
Rob
You seem incapable of understanding your error. You said the Me109
was "the greatest killing machine of all time." When you speak in
absolutes that simply isn't true. Had you said "Me109 shot down more
aircraft than any other" or "Me109 was one of the greatest killing
machines of all time" I don't think Bill would have quibbled.

Was the Me Bf 109 a bomber or a bomb? No, my context of "killing
machine" should have been obvious to all except an ignorant fool. It's
a fighter and the world's most lethal in history, also made the most
aces ever. Probably will never be equalled by any military a/c until
the end of time...
"Patridiot" replies like that remind me of that dumbass who quoted the
Miltary Channel on the Me Bf 109 with one-third of the 30,000
supposedly lost to accidents. Bull***. Over 33,000 were produced and
11,000 were not written off due to accidents. Use your fucking brains
people.
Bill's reply was unrequited AND moronic.
Hey, maybe Bill will compare a King Tiger tank to a battleship and
claim more firepower ;)
What an ***...
