Gordon's hypocrisy is visable to all. And it does no good to say,
"hey, he's a nice guy." He must not be all that nice considering that
he has praised the experten for years and also the Me Bf 109 and
Me-262. He tries to use history as a buffer against German war crimes
and the Holocaust and yet everything he admires is tainted with a
Hakenkreuz and NSDAP.

Now he's playing full reversal to regain his reputation after I
confronted him on it and he threw a tantrum and KF'd me.

Didn't work- I hold the advantage as he is still responding to my
topics while not acknowledging me. One post cracked me up where he
said "another poster" (me) had said..."

What a loser not to openly name me nor engage me.

p.s. This all started over the Melitta von Stauffenberg topic and I
proved Gordon wrong with her own diary entries. I hope he has fun
watching "Valkyrie" at the movie theater. Rob Arndt will be in the
back of his mind ;)

Why don't you just direct this at Gordon then and leave the rest of us
out of it? �Please keep on with your aircraft posts, they are mostly
fascinating.

I think people are taking what I posted wrongly.

I have nothing against Gordon personally and DO think he is an
intelligent, experienced, nice guy overall.

But what I told him was equally true and he finds himself in a
quagmire of trying to appear to distance himself from his recent past
associations with the Luftwaffe Experten and hiding behind history to
attempt to seperate all aspects of the Luftwaffe and its machinery
from the Reich symbolism and Nazi atrocities connected to the Me Bf
109, Me-262, etc...

I got tired of people labeling me a Nazi or Nazi apologist while
Gordon gets away with it hiding behind his historical facade/museum
status or Euno hiding his anti-semitism and apologist stance behind
technical jargon (HINT: Euno is NOT THAT SMART- I used to post
technical a long time ago and neither Euno nor WIllshaw nor Sinclaire
have a monopoloy on it; in fact, anyone with a good technical book can
copy that bullshit down and sound like a science/physics professor). I
stopped b/c it was a bunch of mental masturbation concerning arguing
engines, props, armament, canopies, cockpits, control surfaces,
fuselages, aerodynamics, AoA, yaw, pitch, roll rates, and the rest of
the nonsense...

So, I just say that it is hypocritical of Gordon to rave on about how
he was my only friend here (again, nonsense) and that losing him will
somehow degrade my posting or hurt me personally. I told him his KF
and supposed departure (another falsehood) would not affect me in the
slightest and it hasn't. No matter how many people personally dislike
me at RAM, the majority still like my posts and respect for what I
bring to the group as a whole. That's not going to change.

I'm not on an ego trip... just experienced enough on NGs to know that
those kinds of threats are empty to someone that is immune to them. It
is actually Gordon that dropped off the Top 10 of all time, started to
fade into obscurity, made a big fuss over a silly argument on Melita
von Stauffenberg, acted childish in response with the KF threat and
obscenities, and vanished... for a month or so and now desperately
crawls back and gets right back into the German threads, but taking a
very US patriotic view and trying to reverse an entire archive filled
with nothing but praise for the Luftwaffe experten, the Me Bf 109, and
the Me-262.

I haven't changed, Gordon has, and it doesn't work in his posts that
try to portray him in a different light.

I'm not buying into that.

You can if you want, but Rob Arndt remains unmoved.

If Gordon wants to be a real man, then drop the killfile and re-join
as his normal self. If he has something to say to me directly, then he
is free to say it- but don't hide in my threads and act like you don't
recognize me. Everytime someone answers me, Gordon sees my posts. I
suspect that anything with the Luftwaffe and German content most
likely is recognized as mine anyway ;)

I just wish Gordon would come clean. Many vets, historians,
scientists, aviation buffs, etc... all have been fascinated by the
many facets of the Third Reich and its history & technology. There
should be no need to make excuses and apologize due to the Nazi regime
nor the Holocaust. This is an aviation NG, not soc.history.world.war-
II with an annoying biased moderator. We all can say what we want and
take any position we want.

I think the NG overall is better for this freedom. And although I do
not always agree with a vast multitude of people here, that doesn't
mean I don't respect them. I have taken a tremendous amount of flak
here over a decade, but anyone that really knows me and my style knows
that I have contributed far more material than many others combined. I
am undeterred by killfiles and what people think.
