the market for a while. A .308 Bulpup is a nice change from all the .223's.
FN is NOT the first to have forward ejection for a small arm- the
Italians in the '70s had a revolutionary Benelli SMG that fired its
entire cartridge, semi-caseless, out of the barrel. No ejection
mechanism at all. A fascinating weapon, it found no military
contracts, sadly.
