Hitler and NAZIs didn't do robots, or can you surprise me?

Not really. They had automated weapons firing systems for a/c and the
Panther tanks experimentally w/the MG-34 remote guns. In the air they
also had the As-292 target drone turned RPV with Zeiss IR camera- none
were ever detected or shot down. Something akin to the Italian
mechanical horse (Iron Dobbin) was contemplated for the Gebirgsjaeger,
but TWN (Triumph Werke Nurnberg) which was to perform studies for a
Panzerpferd opted for an air-dropped schooter instead. Maybe a
prototype was built, but I only have a sketch for it so far.

The SS Paranormal Division, however, toyed with the idea of
resurrection for Waffen SS troops using pharmaceutical technology
which would have been surgically inserted into the brain had it worked
to create a Zweimal Tot (Twice Dead) zombie soldier to delay enemy
troops. Resurrections are claimed to have occured for seconds for
recently dead using just the drugs- various hand movements, eye
movement, and leg movements were recorded. this and D-IX drug would
create biological robots. D-IX was is limited production when the war
ended and issued to Waffen SS troops on the Eastern Front, not just
tested on Dachau prisoners. It was to be standard issue to all German
forces by Oct 1945. Other abominations were so-called X-creatures
created in SS castle labs that never survived for any length of time.
What they were to be used for is unknown. Sounds creepy, but true.
Castles Wewelsburg and Wolfenstein actually performed work on these
things. Some people think the game is all fantasy, but the SS did use
castles for protection against Allied bombing and to compartmentalize
illegal and immoral research.
