Many good points there. Computers cannot and never will know
everything, not least because the engineers and scientists who create
the programs do not have the full overlap of imagination with and
experience as pilots.

Airbus DOES NOT write the FADEC software.

Just had a thought............hasn't the BOEING Vertol Chinook got FADEC?.........so its not just confined to Airbus, Boeing does it too !, infact I think the RAF Board of inquiry are about to re-investigate the crash by an RAF chinook on the Mull of Kintyre in particular with regards to the digital engine controls.
