I've always thought the various Mistels were odd yet fascinating. Know
of any good on line documentation?

From what I've read they apparently were quite flyable with reasonable
handling characteristics.

They were or rather could also be guided by a similar guidence system
to that used on the Hs 293 glide bomb.

I don't know how well the Fw 190 with V1 would have handled. They
seem to have been more succesfull than the
USAAF Aphrodite program in that they destroyed a few bridges that
hardly slowed the Soviet advance at all.
