Hasn't that already been the case for some time now?
I've just about decided that the idea of "an objective media" is a
recent fiction. Newspapers of the 1800s made no pretense of being
impartial. William Randolph Hearst even took credit for the Spanish
American War. Look at papers from WW2, certainly no impartiality
there either. So, why have the media types recently developed the
bizarre idea of impartiality. It is particularly strange when they
fail at it so badly.
