Get out yer tinfoil hats!!!
Good old Otis manages once again to publish an outrageous, misleading
headline for a fairly innocuous news item.
The essence of the story is that the USAF is pursuing non-lethal
weaponry for use in insurgency (there's a probability that we might
encounter one.)
Drawing from the synthetic outrage of perps who have been Tazered, the
suggestion was that maybe it would be beneficial to have any purchased
system be one which had been developed, tested, employed and validated
in crowd control, non-lethal situations in the US. In other words, a
field-tested, employment-proven, verified non-lethal system.
Is this bad?
