tructure. That is the only way to progress.

Gemany does have a very free market economy though its labour market is
still somewhat rigid. If free market means setting up low wage, low
skill illegal or semi legal shadow economy consisting of 'open borders'
mexicans and such like with and a pool of crime prone intellectual
moderate dross from which the better ones a servile class can provide
labour to a walmart economy then Germany is a still a few years
behined that situation but not by far.

No, the idea is that wages even if low will push Mexico up. The
question to be asked is why is there this difference across the border.

The US is now so reliant on
low skill low labour jobs they've fallen behined brazil in producing
cheap oranges because Brailan automated harvesting is more economical
than the labour intensive hispanic harvesting the US uses. This in the
land of the B-2 stealth bomber.

The US economy is nothing to emulate too much. It's now based on a
dumbass ideology that no longer relates to human needs and is quite
different to the ideals it was founded upon. The people serve the
ideology not the other way around. It's somewhat reminiscent of the
Roman empire which buckled under the influx of immigraion and failed to
advance technically due to an abundence of slave labour. There were
probably Roman real estate agents and plantation owners doing well out
of that as well.

There are many brilliant people in the US and many stupid ones.
Nicholas Negroponte is doing absolutely stirling work on the $100
laptop. American universities are acknowledged to be tghe best in the
worls. The US has a lot going for it. Mind since the War on Terror
began the US has become notably more protectionalist and
bureaucratically rigid.
