No they won't have to have water bottles. There might be a case for
electrically heated gloves and boots - both available to motorcyclists.

I think the concept is brilliant. Carbon fiber is a material of immense
strength which was not available until fairly recently. Does a aircraft
have to be rigid? No not if it is made of high strength material and
inflated. As I said L/D appears comperable to that of an airliner with
considerably less deadweight.

One more serious point than "hot water bottles" is the question of how
you get back. If you have an engine the answer is straightforward - you
fly back. If you don't have an engine it should be pointed out that
special forces are not kamikazis.
