That by my arithmetic is a L/D or 20:1. Not bad, about what you
typically get from an airliner. Nore the article also mentions small
turbojets - heck the parachute is an airplane!
I just wonder whether it would be possiblw to attach inflatable wings
to a car. I note that MIT is working on a car that can fly. There are
quite a lot of alternative concepts to Moller.
