Just completed a trip from Chicago to Colorado. Passing through Iowa,
Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado the speed limits varied from 55, 65, 70
and 75 mph on the interstates.
In 75 mph zones cars were traveling, at times, 10, 15 mph under 75. And
this was not in congested area's but wide open stretches of road where
you could really do some moving.
On drove on some state highways and two lane roads which were 65 mph
limits and locals did 40-45 mph. My horn and passing gear got a workout
on this trip.
I can't wait to go back east through OH, PA & NY where cars move 10,15 &
20 mph over the speed limit.
