J C whitney use to have super-cheaply made products and bottom of the
barrel service but that was a long time ago. Does anyone know if they
have improved?

Preferred Account and Bill Me Later are accepted for online orders. If
you place an order by phone, we will also accept checks. If you place

Q. How do I return something if I've received a damaged or defective
part, the wrong item or I am not happy with my order?
A. Shop with confidence at JC Whitney. Your complete satisfaction is
our number one goal. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied
with your purchase, just return the item within 90 days for an
exchange or refund.
The following steps will ensure a smooth return:
1. Find the pre-authorized return form on the back of your order
document
included in your shipment.
2. Re-pack the items securely with the original packaging and apply
the label
from the reverse side.
3. Complete the form entirely and enclose in package. If you no longer
have the return form that came with your order, you can print a form
now.
4. Ship prepaid via USPS w/ Delivery Confirmation, FedEx Ground or
UPS.

Q. How do I search for products?
A. Virtually all the products from our print catalogs can be found
online. You can search for them the left navigation portion of the

dropdowns or browse through the PRODUCT CATEGORIES narrowing results

A. We work very hard to ensure that all our products are available

our multiple catalogs and the volume of new product introductions

Q. Why does the product Item number appear differently in the catalog
than on the website??
A. The SKU number shown in the print catalog differs from the SKU
number you see on our website for sales reference purposes. However,
if the six numeric digits are the same, it is the same product. See

A. Although we check our information very carefully before adding a
product to our website, an occasional error may occur. Therefore, we

Q. What type of warranty do you offer on products?

Many of our products carry extended manufacturer's warranties. The
warranty period will be noted with the particular product. These
warranties state that if the item you purchase fails as a result of a

Limited lifetime warranties are in effect for as long as you own the
