I post there, once in a while here, and also to a couple of Yahoo NASCAR
groups. I got tired of the personal attacks and political BS on this
group. To my knowledge, Dale has not throttled anyone on the yahoo group
and there have been some spirited exchanges over the last couple of
years. The difference is people are able to disagree while remaining
civil with one another.

Oh, we disagree there. I don't have any need for control (and already
said Notso does not control anyone). I made the choice to avoid most of
the BS here at RASN. I still lurk to see if there is something
interesting posted but it is ALL about civility...

Later,
Dave

I don't have a problem with being civil, but after what Mr. Bright did to
this group, he's not worthy of civility from me.

You give him too much credit. Usenet has declined.

Dambit! I WUZ ALREADY FEELING THE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!

But it`s pretty laughable how some people get their panties in a wad for a
few spam posts and some idiots that can be filtered.
The beauty of Usenet is the freedom to say what you want without some
fascist website ownner flogging you in public.
Those are a dime a dozon.

Besides, this group is now lead by Ricky Bobby/cfswestern..etc, lol.

I nominate the artist formerly known as Beaner as President of this
chapter of rasn.

Do I hear a second?
