I could care less if it's a yr old, but the way it was posted seemed to
imply that Rusty said something *yesterday* after RN announced he would
be driving for Stewart/Hass next yr.

If I have to spell it out to you...

RW announced the RN got canned. He did this
after RN announced he was parting ways with
Penske. RN said the parting was a mutual
decision. RW, for some reason, felt compelled
to tell the world otherwise. Penske never
officially said they fired RN.

This incident rekindled a feud between
RN and RW that was left over from their
teammate days (some say).

So, naturally, because RW felt the need
to announce that RN got fired, he might
feel equally compelled to announce that
RN got hired, by Stewart-Haas.
