DEJ appears quietly maintaining placement into the chase. Much like

I think Jr. could be poised to do the same.
KyB on the other hand, I just have a feeling some run of bad luck is
going to cut him short of the championship, though he will no doubt
make the chase.
Me predicting is like the weather, I can't predict that either.
Busch is definitely due some bad karma, and honestly anyone that makes
the Chase can win it...But with Busch's lead to start the Chase, some
bad luck is going to have to befall him for anyone with less than 2
wins to have a great chance at taking the Cup away from him. Let's
face it, Junior only has 1 win, so if the Chase started today, he
would no longer be in 2nd place. He'd be closer to mid-pack, behind
the multi-winners like JJ and Edwards.
I'd love to see Junior swipe the Cup this year...but the 88 team is
going to have to step up their performances and get another win or
2...maybe even a win or 2 in the Chase. Shrub is no slouch behind the
wheel and the 18 team obviously has their ducks in a tidy row so far
this season, they're going to be tough to beat unless they start
beating themselves. It is possible, as you said, betting or predicting
this stuff is akin to predicting the weather. You can have a good idea
based on historical data, but anything can and usually does happen.
didn't you get the memo? once the chase starts the 88 gets "special" (non)attention in tech
;-)
