I've been saying that for several years now. Get rid of 90%
of the rules, and inspection becomes simple, you don't have
any more BS penalties for minor oversights, and most importantly,
the teams can get back to trying to build faster race cars.
But France, Helton, et al have such an inferiority complex that
they can't conceive of letting go. They have to show their
power by controlling every aspect of the sport.
