Kurt busch has to finish 39th or higher, and Harvick has to finish
32nd for both to clinch a spot in the Chase. If they both have a bad
night and finish worse than that, Junior would have to win the race to
beat either of them. Personally, I hope Junior misses! I got so sick
of all the attention he was getting last night I turned the race off.
Good thing too! I don't like the guy who won it either. Anyway,
maybe with Junior out of it, the broadcasters will FINALLY realise
that, hey, there's actually more that one car out there! Oh wait, I
forgot, with Junior out of the picture, it's going to be all Jeffy,
J.J., and Tony! I remember the first year of the Chase. When they
were advertising the Pheonix race, the TV commercials said, "tune it
to watch Dale Earnhardt Junior, Jeff Gordon, and Jimmie Johnson, as
they fight for the NA$CAR Nextel Cup'. And at the time, there was a
show on speed called "PitBull", and I think it was David Poole who
said, 'hey, wait a second, what about the guy who's leading the
points? What's his name? Oh ya, Kurt Busch!" Everyone has their
favorites, and the media and NA$CAR are so wrapped up in their love
affair with Junior and the goofs from Hendrick. Maybe, just maybe,
they might redirect their affection toward someone else for a
change!
Naa, I don't think so. Oh well.
I'm not a Harvick or a Kurt Busch fan, but I'll be cheering both of
them on to beat Junior at Richmond!
