Good thots Sim!
U need to share yore thots while speculation lasts.
I think u have the best handle on The Junior Mindset,
but at this point it's all a free-for-all, eh?

Oh yeah, free for all may not even be aqequate enough of a term...lol

But yes, I've been there and done that with the whole family-owned
business thing. Mine ain't NASCAR, but family dynamics are family
dynamics whether it is a NASCAR Dynasty-wannabe or a medium sized real
estate firm.

Had my dad lived till today, I can't say where we'd be, but I know
we're in a different place because we lost him. So is DEI. Just like I
had to make some hard choices, and to an extent like Junior, go
against the grain of the plan that had been laid at my feet, so now he
has that same issue. I chose my path, and it was astray of the "family
plan" but I have to say, that it has worked out for the best. So too
will Junior's deal in the long run IMO, regardless of where he ends
up.

My only gripe is the people out here panning on Junior's ability. The
kid is as talented as anyone in the garage IMO, and for folks to call
him mediocre based on these last few years, tells me 1) they're likely
just a hater trying to tone down their rederick or 2) They simply just
don't know anything about Junior's past accomplishments and genuine
drive to win and succeed or 3) They are just so new to the sport that
they think the past 2-3 years are representitive of Junior's entire
history. The kid's been a winner since his Legend's car days and he
hasn't forgotten how to drive, he's just caught in a situation where
his owner wants to build a museum while he wants to build and fill a
trophy room. Those 2 divergent agendas just won't work, Junior knows
it, and is acting in his own best interest. It has nothing to do with
his ego or some sudden lack of talent, and I'm tired of hearing
it...lol

I hear ya about tired of hearing it, being a JG fan & all.
Just curious Sim, what did yore spell-checker tell ya about
rederick? ;) I got redbrick, Roderick, Frederick & red.
Somehow i don't think u meant to use any of those.
CRU-a rhetorical statement?
