If you were around for the original NASCAR run back in the day (late
80's-early 90's), Benny, Dr. Punch, Ned and pit reporter John Kernan ran
the
show. TNN carried Eli Gold, Mike Joy and Glenn Jarrett back in the day.

Dr. Punch was a excellent commentator, while Ned and Benny provided color
commentating. Not only does Dr. Punch do NASCAR, he also provides
ABC/ESPN
with college Football commentating as well. Over all excellant anchor.
What
will get you as well-he is a legit Dr., so if medical attention is
needed-he's on the spot, pronto!

And if you caught the Busch race Saturday night-Ned Jarrett was in the
booth
with Dale and Dr. Punch! I've always liked him!

been ..He drones on and
and on and on and on ...As for the Jarretts again no feel for
broadcasting ..just ramble
and blabber on with it...U think it is bad now ? Wait till RW and
company share the
controls with Doctor Punch ...You heard it here first. Dale Jarrett
will talk for one
minute straight without taking a breath and u still wont know what the
hell he said.
But yahl will have a great time ....Punch and company will
be ...incredibly enough..
on the air for 18
weekends
