LOL! I'm still trying to figure out the whole "NASCAR ruined CART, IRL,
USAC, and so on" comment. So NASCAR made Tony George break up CART? How did
they ruin USAC? By taking some of its stars and making bigger stars out of
them?

Personally, I had a pretty good time watching all the live coverage on
Speed, and would've loved to have been there in person. I would've like to
have seen the GTO.Rs and the Corvettes done a little better, but the
Corvette Factory Team is still over in the ALMS, and this was the first 24
hour race for the GTO.R (which didn't debut in the TRG camp until mid-season
last year), so I guess some issues were to be expected. I'm a little
surprised that a Pontiac powered DP didn't win it again this year though,
they've been strong the past few years, even won the title last year with
the Suntrust boys. If Howard-Boss hadn't suffered so many mechanical issues,
Pontiac would've been better represented up front IMO, yet again. I guess it
was just Chip's and Lexus' year this year. Congrats to the
Ganassi/Target/Lexus/Riley team on the win. It was cool to see such a group
of "Rolex-whackers" get a win in such a tough race, even if they were from
the Ganassi group. I personally was pulling for Tony and Rusty over in the
Howard-Boss camp...damn did their luck suck again this year or what?
