actually, I know a bunch of NASCAR fans who also think stuff like this
is cheating. they just don't post here. ;-)

as for Jamie (I know you're kidding me ;-) )--he didn't make the Chase
last year in large part b/c he was docked 25 points earlier in the
season for cheating. as disappointed as I was last year, I also felt
that the team had made their bed with the cheating and it was OK with
me that they had to deal with those consequences at the end of the
'regular' season. (not missing those 25 points would have made up his
15 point deficit at the end of the regular season and put him in the
Chase.)
