Driving out of contention

I take it most have seen Jarrett's spin out of the 12 car in Bristol.
Although serveral other drivers were involved I'm questioning Harvick's
blundering manuver. What I saw on the replays was that Kevin did go low when
the spotter told him to and was following the 25 car, I believe. The 25
proceeded to following along the inside retaining wall to steer clear of the
sideways Newman who was just at the bottom of the concrete surface exiting
the turn. Why, and my guess is that Kevin would be the only one who could
anwser this, decided to turn right into Newman. My guess is that he thought
he might be able to get ahead of the 25 while cars were scrambling for
position. Then in the pits he blames the spotter and the crew for being that
far back. I can understand being ticked if they had a bad pit stop but
blaming the spotter? Kevin, what race were you driving in?
I don't mind Kevin. He shows great intensity and determination (which could
be good/bad) but I know that he's struggled at times during this year and
his frustration apparently is starting to show. We all know he's quick
tempered so it doesn't take much to get a reaction from him.
