I'm quite willing to accept as par for the course the ravings of
texasgate and the various nationalistic inanities emanating (probably)
from the Iberian Peninsula but, given the very small number of us who
still participate in text Usenet, I find it disappointing when highly
intelligent F1 fans can't see when it's time to keep their traps shut.
I realize that my head is well up my own arse but I'm beginning to see
why so many old friends (Doc Knutson, Emma to name but two) have
deserted rasf1.
No, you're not the only one.
I miss them both. :-( Doc's racing knowledge was invaluable. I see Emma on
FB and at the refuge (not that I'm active there).
However I'm finding that judicious use of my killfile cuts the posts by 50%+
and then selective reading *does* find enough gems to keep me reading here.
Just.
